Location, good value

The location is great being close to the train station but the street that it’s in and the area is very populated by drug dealers and seedy looking characters. This is not the Hotel‘s fault, but I was not aware that I was going to be in a street that I would have to be cautious of walking down to get to the hotel .

It is very centralized, the room fits us very well, and the beds were comfortable. We could easily access restaurants, the main station and other attractions in the vicinity. The place is in a “shady” street, for those who are familiar with Hamburg; but nothing has happened to us and we felt safe to leave during late evening (at the main station there is a police office station as well as down the side street). Finally, the staff were cordial and very friendly. They assisted us in whatever and answered all the questions either in English or German.

The position is very close to the Hamburg Hbf train station, so very comfortable. The staff is super available and kind, breakfast was very good. Rooms are okay, simple and essential. Cleaning service must be improved, but in general it was okay. For one/two nights is a good solution, and the price is competitive.
